The text of the Opening Speech at the Gathering held in front of Parliament House of Victoria in Australia, condemning the cruel assassination of General Abdul Razaq, the Police Chief of Kandahar. Also at the end of this gathering, the resolution was read by Fateh Sami on the 3rd November 2018.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you all for attending this gathering. The main purpose of the gathering is to attract the attention of our fellow Australian compatriot men and women to the systematic and orchestrated ongoing killings, mutilation, and terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

As a result of continuous barbaric actions, thousands and thousands of our people are killed, assassinated, mutilated and slaughtered indiscriminatingly every single day throughout Afghanistan.

As you have watched on TV and other mass media, Afghanistan has been turned to the most dangerous country in the world by unremitting terrorists and their internal and external supporters.

Unfortunately, the people of Afghanistan were expecting that with the presence of the world community there would be peace, security, and stability in their country, but contrary to that expectation, we are now all witness that our people are being slaughtered on daily basis by Taliban, Al-Qaeda, ISIL/ISIS other terrorist groups, and their patrons.

The names of terrorist groups are changed, but in fact, they are all the same, mostly trained and incubated in Pakistan under the direct supervision and support of the Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan.

The main reason, that the International Community led by USA, NATO Member States, and other countries came to Afghanistan, was to defeat International Terrorism headed by Al-Qaeda after 9/11.

The allied forces which entered Afghanistan were mainly focussed on the elimination of Al- Qaeda and other terrorist groups, no matter where they had a safe-haven.

They also promised eradication of narcotic drugs and rehabilitation of Afghanistan, as well as providing the path for establishing a legitimate nation-wide administration where every citizen of Afghanistan should have a place in it.

Unfortunately, currently, the result is:

Ø Afghanistan once again has turned a safe-haven to local, regional, and international terrorists and their sponsors under the presence of International forces;

Ø our people are not even safe of terrorist attacks in the most secure places and in other regions in Afghanistan; and
Ø the recent assassination of General Abdul Raziq in the most secure and highly protected Governor’s Compound in Kandahar.

The whole nation of Afghanistan is in grief and lamentation. Therefore we are here tonight to raise our voices along with the nation of Afghanistan to condemn this inhumane crime. Hence we ask the:

Ø The members of the parliament of Afghanistan;

Ø The European Union (EU);

Ø The Congress of the UN Security;

Ø The International Court of justice; and

Ø The World Community to stop the massacre of our people which is happening throughout the country.

We want them to listen to the demand and voices of our people summarised in a resolution announced at the end of this gathering.

The resolution of the Refugees of Afghanistan in State of Victoria, Australia mourning the cruel assassination of Kandahar Police Chief, General Abdul Raziq

Date: 3rd November 2018

We refugees of Afghanistan, residing in Victoria, Australia, vehemently condemn the recent terror attack on General Abdul Raziq, the Police Chief of Kandahar Province in Afghanistan. This cowardly act of terror was unexpectedly carried out under a very tight security measure in place inside the governor’s compound. It happened in continuation of orchestrated and systematic terror attacks by Foreign Intelligence Services and their mercenaries and agents, with the direct corroboration of the Fifth Column within the regime of Kabul. The people of Afghanistan are the witness that the systematic assassinations are orchestrated against the real defenders of Afghanistan who fight the terror groups and their foreign supporters to ensure security, but they are murdered in the most secure places.

We refugees of Afghanistan in Victoria:

1. Want to Identify, capture and trial the perpetrators who are being involved in systematic assassinations of the citizens of Afghanistan in general and the political, military, cultural, scholars and professionals personalities in particular. Those who commit or have committed crimes against humanity should be referred to the international court of justice for a trial of war crimes and crimes against humanity;

2. Reject any type of negotiations, negligence, and oversimplification by the present regime with Taliban, terrorists and the murderers without the presence and consent of the real representatives of the people of Afghanistan;

3. Support any type of just peace for protection of our political life and the national interest of Afghanistan and for the strengthening of national solidarity, ensuring security and stability and cessation of imposed proxy war of neighbouring countries and foreigners;

4. Want to see on media the actual film of the scene of the terror attack on General Abdul Raziq. That film should reveal the identity of real perpetrators of this heinous crime to the people of Afghanistan and to the world;

5. Are seriously concerned about the ever-increasing terrorist activities. They are also worried about the increase of various terrorist groups such as the Taliban and Daesh in the presence of military forces of NATO and America while the security contract is still in place between Kabul and Washington;
6. We strongly condemn any kind of racial, local, religious, and linguistic discord and discrimination. We want all the foreign nations and their representatives not to interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan and to avoid any kind of spreading discord among the ethnic groups in Afghanistan. Continuation of any type of clandestine and subversive activities, interventions and discord among the people of Afghanistan will have undesirable consequences for peace, security, and stability in the region and around the globe; and

7. We want to have a transparent, just and legitimate election to bring about a nation-wide government in Afghanistan, without any interference, rigging, and fraud in the election.
