Reminder for a historic lesson!

History; as it's remembrance of the past events and has lessons to be learned, negligence of them could also have consequences. As its said: A nation which couldn't learned from history, history would repeat itself. One could say the deplorable situation in Afghanistan is the affect of inattention to history and its lessons. One of the factors that has led to current monopoly, authoritarianism and totalitarianism is the disregard for the lessons of the country's history. Many genocide have been recorded in History.

For an instance, Armenians genocide by Ottoman Empire. It's been 100 years since then; an event which is being considered enormous atrocity in memory of history  and Armenians. Although the word "Genocide" came up in 1944, most of researchers accepts that a specific ethnic-cleansing is reffered as a "Genocide".

With the initiation of World War 1, the leading Party in Turkey implemented Pan-Turkism policy to preserve the Ottoman Empire: establishment of "Turan"; A state that extended to China and included all the Turkic-speaking tribes of the Caucasus and Central Asia. Which was one of such proceedings. Non-Turkic and non-Muslim tribes living in the land had to either accept  Turkish culture and language or disappear. According to the same racist and inhumane policy, the Ottoman government leaders saw the Armenian population as the main obstacle to the implementation of the program and made them all to go through the Razer's edge.

On the eve of the war, more than two million Armenians were living in the territory belonging to the Ottoman Empire. Approximately one and a half million people were killed in 1915-1923. The first stage of destruction began in the spring of 1915 with the arrest and killing of hundreds of representatives of Armenian intellectuals in the capital of the Ottoman Empire, the city of Constantinople.

The second stage was the sending of 60,000 Armenian men to the Turkish army, who were killed by their Turkish colleagues while serving duty. The third case was identified with the massacre and exile of women, children and the elderly to the Syrian desert. Hundreds of thousands of Armenians died during marches; Many died of hunger and illness. This tragedy is still one of the most prominent causes of the dispute between Turkey, the international community, and human rights institutions which has remained unpleasant in history, and should be a lesson from history for all countries around the world.

Today, the existence of human rights institutions in the world, mass media and social networks as observers of the world situation and global commitments to protect human rights and human values may prevent genocide and similar disasters, but considering that still in many areas there are power-seeking, exclusivism and ethnocentrism, there is a need to establish and implement justice for tragedies such as the Armenian Genocide by the Ottoman Empire, to become a justice-seeking campaign to prevent such great events.

The question is; what's the history lesson for Afghanistan in such tragedies and genocides? Afghanistan is a country contained of different ethnic groups that have been living together for many years, despite the differences, and based on the slogan of "the common home of all ethnic groups". The people of this country now need more than ever to learn from the Armenian genocide event; Because the people of Afghanistan have experienced many highs and lows for many years and are now in a critical phase, they need to work to preserve all the ethnicities of this country by learning from history.

For this reason, it is necessary for all Afghans to participate in the formation of an inclusive government consisting of all the ethnic groups of Afghanistan, taking into account the active and meaningful participation of the ethnic groups and minorities of Afghanistan, and to create a system based on justice and human values.

The statesmen who are now in charge of the country's decisions and those who have been removed from power have a huge responsibility in this regard; Because they are the ones who have always played a role in mobilizing and guiding the people, and now is the time for them to play their part as they should, in creating an inclusive government with the participation of all ethnic groups, regardless of their ethnicity and nationality. In addition to preserving and consolidating the foundations of government and national unity, this work will make the country and people of Afghanistan succeed in the difficult test of governance in the international community.

Where in today's world, no country can survive on its own, then it is necessary for the statesmen to create an all-inclusive government in view of these issues, which will provide the basis for the continuity of all the ethnic groups of Afghanistan.
