Afghanistan has fallen a victim of great game of world powers for decades. It has impacted the whole life of its citizens, suffering from an ongoing crises as part of this game. Intrusion , intermediation and occupation of a deep-rooted conspiracy on our populace is immeasurable in the rural and urban areas, cities, towns, districts and provinces since the presence of American and its allied forces on our homeland after the 9/11 attack on the twin towers in New York and in Washington. USA and its allies invaded Afghanistan apparently to remove Taliban from power who denied to handover Osama bin Ladin to the American authority. However, Osama was given a save sanguinary next to the ISI headquarter in Pakistan. Taliban provided a safe heaven to Osama bin Ladin in Afghanistan, according to US security organisations. Osama , the leader of al-Qaeda was known as an a perpetrator of the attack on American soil.
Taliban has undeniably been incubated in the religious training centres ( madrassa) in Pakistan by Nasrullah Babur, Benazir Bhutto’s minister for home affairs. From then onward the Pakistani governments have used Taliban as their mercenaries to conduct systematic fatal attacks on the National Army and civilians indiscriminately. They were removed from power by the US and the Afghan anti -terrorists groups, known as northern alliance, within less than a month. Subsequently, the transitional government was established and Hamid Karzai was selected as the chairman.
The people of Afghanistan were looking forward for enjoying a secure and promising future, being relieved from the domination of Taliban lawless and barbaric regime which was only recognised by Saudi Arabia Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates. The people of Afghanistan were initially grateful to the US support in toppling the Taliban ISI sponsored fanatic dictatorial and cruel nomadic administration. Taliban did not have any respect to individuals, children and women. The international Security Assistance Forces (ISAF)was a NATO led Security mission in Afghanistan, established by the United Nations Security Council in December 2001 by Resolution 1386, as envisaged by the Bonn Agreement.
ISAF occupied Afghanistan apparently to eliminate terrorist organisations , to participate in rehabilitation of Afghanistan, to prevent opium cultivation and trafficking as well as establishing a democratic government through western style election, so called democracy, to realise stability and peace, economic development and employment opportunity in Afghanistan.
Unfortunately the outcome of US presence can be observed in continuous massacre, killings, suicidal attacks and explosions, drug addiction of over 3 million people. The number of drug addicts are increasing drastically every year.
The above mentioned tragic scenario are orchestrated in Pakistan and implemented by the illegitimate regime of Ashraf Ghani. According to his close associates, Mr Ghani is the most factious, psychotic, fraudulent , dogmatic and furious person. He is the one who is pushing Afghanistan in collusion with the most notorious criminals like Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, a vindicator of Daesh.
Mr. Hekmatyar had already expressed his support to Daesh/ISIS. Surprisingly Hekmatyar is enjoying a luxurious life in Kabul financed under the behest of Ashraf Ghani government. All his expenses are financed by the American taxpayers in the name of fighting terrorists for security of America. What a ludicrous game!
How do you dare to suppor some one who has committed crime against humanity?
How you dare to overlook his past criminal actions against humanity? Since he joined the Kabul regime in the name of peace, the security situation has significantly deteriorated.
By pursuing such a dual policy, Afghanistan is intentionally pushed towards an unknown and gloomy future. Due to various conspiracies from outside and inside the current turmoil, does not seem to be ended soon. Consequently, the people of Afghanistan are paying the price every day.
How did the Taliban appeared once again as a fighting force ?
How they can manage to conduct fatal operation inside the tightly secure zone in Kabul city?
Many questions are unresolved yet. It may look seemingly a jigsaw puzzle but based on evidence the current chaotic situation and unexpected operations by Taliban and other terrorist organisations are being coordinated with the collaboration of authority in the government, continually being repeated for 18 years. This article will try to highlight the leading cause of difficulties which will help us to understand and unravel the intangibility and incomprehensibility of this problem.
Khalilzad —Dancing with the Devil ! Playing pranks with two faces.
His destructive role as US Presidents special envoy in Afghanistan.
Since the Bonn conference till now Khalilzad role has been significant in supporting Mr. Karzai, who times and again has been defending and taking side with Taliban.
Zalmay Khalilzad as the special envoy of USA during president Bush administration has cunningly acted not to bring peace and stability in Afghanistan. Contrarily, he has been keen to keep some one from his own clan in power. The consequences of his peace mediation with the Taliban factions have been evident during the last nine months as President Trump’s special envoy and chief negotiator with Taliban in Doha, the capital of Qatar. He has been manipulating to negotiate on a so called peace accord with Taliban. A group of religious extremist students trained and brainwashed in Pakistan religious schools , committing horrible crimes against men women and children in Afghanistan.
According to authentic information released from reliable sources Taliban have been supported and mobilised by Karzai and Ghani's regimes militarily and financially. That is why they have been recently transferred by the Ghani illegitimate regimes as a proposed and relevant military power in the current political arena in Afghanistan.
Afghan Political analysts, by and large , firmly believe that Khalilzad as a US special envoy did not concern himself about a nationwide peace and stability in Afghanistan. Mainly , he has been focussed to install some one from his own ethnic group in power. He ( Khalilzad) believes the traditional domination and leadership of Pashtun ethnicity should be maintained in Afghanistan – a multi- ethnic nation. This type of mentality will not work any longer. Its outcome will be hatred and resistance. No matter how many people are killed every single day.
Karzai and Ghani have been adopting similar approaches in fighting the Taliban since the Bonn Conference in which Karzai was put in power. The consequences of their ethnic tendency towards Taliban being released from prisons , under the name of so called peace, by Ashraf Ghani causes more violence and crimes in society.Taliban was helped by the current Afghan regime to expand their control in the areas under their influence. Taliban on the basis of reliable evidence are getting equipped with modern sophisticated weaponry. That is why now Taliban can be regarded as a fighting force.
On the basis of evidence, any regime which cannot ensure peace and security for its residence is considered as illegitimate. Needs to be emphasised that , Khalilzad has always been manipulating to install a Pashtun ethnic group, as a president or the head of state. He is not an impartial negotiator to form a broad based government with the participation of true representatives of all ethnic groups and residents of Afghanistan. His mission is vague and biased. People of Afghanistan is unaware of what is going on behind the scene.
Khalilzad is acting and considered as a king maker.Perhaps American Administration is ignoring the negative impact of Khalilzad's role in Afghanistan. His mission needs to be shunned because of his biased mediation and exaggeration of Taliban’s power. He is keen and sympathetic to Taliban similar to Ashraf Ghani and Karzai due to their ethnic affiliation and inclination.
Hamed Karzai as the President and Chairman of the transnational administration was selected by Khalilzad. Karzai and Ghani' s governments are the by-product of his missions since the Bonn conference. Khalilzad's role in installing people of his own interest in power has provoked the people of Afghanistan to develop a hatred against the US policy in relation to its long term presence in their country supporting a government, being engaged propagating discord and division among the citizens in the name of race, religion, language locality and peace. According to some Afghan political analysts, it stands as the major cause of failed states in Afghanistan.
Surprisingly , Ashraf Ghani , Khalilzad and Karzai, despite living in the United States of America (USA) for a long time, still firmly cherish a tribal propensity to sideline the other ethnic groups in the structure of government except their own ethnicity. However, in the absence of a broad based government in which every citizen should have a fair share, opportunity and responsibility no peace will be ensured. Social justice and equality should be observed , otherwise, the existence of the nation in Afghanistan will be put in jeopardy.
Mr Khalilzad has been playing in the negotiations process as a tribal broker in the name of "peace agreement" with the most notorious criminal gang of Taliban , perpetrators of human rights abuse. If the deal proceeds and finalised behind the close door the result will be disastrous . The content of the "peace agreement" sounds vague and in secret clause and language. It will certainly initiate a protracted civil war, a new phase of chaotic situation for an unknown period of time. Taliban and other fanatic extremist factions have not any respect to the human rights and gender. They do not believe that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood without prejudice of any kind.
Khalilzad has already failed to use American tax payers money properly to bring peace and stability for the people in Afghanistan. Our compatriots have been, one way or another, suffering from unrest, chaos, violence, explosions, suicidal attacks, bombardment, abduction ,corruption in the government administration , embezzlement, bribery and other imposed calamities centring about an asserted connivance of certain elements with strong inclination for a tribal type of government , engineered by Khalilzad and headed by Ashraf Ghani
Partly the inability of American administrations since 2001 is directly attributed to the action of Khalilzad not keen in installing a broad based government with the participation of representative of all citizens of Afghanistan. The reason of failed states in Afghanistan, in view of prominent observers , could be due to biased governments for almost two decades. The presence of "terrorists training centres" their dispatch to our country is not a new phenomena. Every one knows that only the people of Afghanistan have been suffering due to a long term conspiracy, terrorist trained dispatched and sponsored by Pakistan.
Comment of the US Presidential election candidates on Afghanistan for gaining political score:
Joe Biden , democratic presidential front- runner declaring out his counter-terrorism strategy said , “ The US can stop being a victim of terrorism emanating from Afghanistan if it insists that Pakistan provides it with bases to conduct operations against terrorists in the war-torn country. We can prevent the United States from being the victim of terror coming out of Afghanistan by providing air bases and insisting the Pakistani provide bases for us to airlift from and move against what we know," he was quoted as saying by the New York Post.
What do you make of such a laughable and comical statement ?
Many interpretation can be inducted into the way American politician are involved in the great game of protracted war in Afghanistan?
1. Afghanistan is the centre of breeding terrorism and Pakistan is a victim. Pakistan will remain an alliance of the United States.
2. The statement , ….and move against what we know. It can be interpreted a threat and intimidation against all the other ethnic groups of Afghanistan, in the name of terrorists, they will be targeted and bombarded , however, they have been at the front line against terrorist, al-Qahida and Taliban mobilised from Pakistan. While according to George Negus in his book entitled,” the World from Down Under”,he has rightly pointed out:
Pakistan is a subcontinental hell-hole. Locally it is a mess . Regionally, it’s a worry. Internationally , it is a threat to global security. Some observers say it could , without warning , change life as we know it. Suddenly , Pakistan could become the theatre for a conflict that would embroil the world’.
Mr. Biden may indirectly mean to denuclearise Pakistan. According to some observers India and Israel has close friendship and for many years the denuclearisation of Pakistan as a cradle of extremists Islamic faction are being considered.
3. Joe Biden may mean to use Pakistan as a launching pad against Russia and China and Iran in the way it was used during the cold era against the USSR.
4. What ever the motivation in his statement would be the other presidential candidates may ask him for further clarification .
Trump last moment pause signing an agreement with Taliban
It would be constructive to look for a broad based government and stop Zalmay Khalilzad as his negotiator. He has been the real cause of all the on-going chaotic situation in Afghanistan. If the United States negotiate with General Dostum , he is the strong man to defeat Taliban and Daesh throughout Afghanistan. He is able to defeat Taliban but Ashraf Ghani, because of ethnic affiliation with Taliban did not allow him . He engineered a plot against him. If the United States is genuinely keen to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan the best alternative to ensure a secure Afghanistan is to rely upon anti- terror groups of the north and General Dostum.
Afghan politicians opinion about the current game in Afghanistan:
Multinational cooperations have been using Islam , and Islamists incubated in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic nations as a means of politics or ideology for extending their agenda across the world. The cooperations for realisation of their global domination invade and occupy countries by military might , install and support their agents to the top positions and establish a puppet dependent regime. The occupation takes place under various pretexts, fighting terrorism, ensuring national security etc. .
They cannily are using citizens of a country as their own sold out agents by installing them in power, as the head of states. The installation is performed in the name of democratic election, but in fact full of rigging and manipulation. The elections are fraudulently carried out as we are all witness in the so called presidential elections in Afghanistan.
This is the way they have been able to gain political and economic control of other areas and nations. This has been their tactic and practice through out the world in the past and at present, in the course of recorded history.
There are many examples of multi- cooperations actions which describes the expansion of western powers during the last centuries , but at the moment, more than any other time , the extremist political Islamic ideology, has been used for the realisation of their long term ambitions. The policy were pursued by the United States of America , Britain and others in the region as whole and in Afghanistan and neighbouring countries in particular.
The major motivation for foreign intervention in other countries are multifaceted but mainly revolving around a single common denominator, gaining dominance over their natural resources.
Military occupation takes place apparently in the name of fighting against their self- made terrorist organisations such as Al Qahida , Mujahidin, Taliban , Daesh / ISIS ect. They are , however, being used to seek certain internal public support to facilitate their accessibility to the untouched and invaluable assorted mineral reserves of our country.
Many Afghan analysts looks at the occupation of their country from a different angle. The presence of the occupied forces and their activities are exposed in the unprecedented expanding of opium plantation, and plundering of our underground minerals. The value of precious stones in Afghanistan cannot be calculated in dollar or other currency.. Absolutely impossible to calculate its value in money.

The future seems bleak and our country is nearing to a total disintegration in the hands of the most notorious sold out extremist fanatic Taliban and some extremist Islamic criminal factions such as Haqani group. This is the time for all freedom loving forces, intellectuals , scholars and political minded people , irrespective of their old fashioned styles of struggles, to review and correct their past blunders , re-evaluate their mistakes , discard opportunistic elements and get to gather , just for the sake of a free and independent Afghanistan, not for personal position or group and factional interest.
I hope the patriotic forces should get united sooner than later, prior to the occurrence of an uncontrollable and chaotic situation which its shadows looms over our horizon. The disintegration of our country can be prevented through a genuine solidarity of all potential human forces available, minus those who surrendered to the ISI of Pakistan and other foreign agencies.
